We offer a 1 week grace period
. If you are unhappy
with an item or receive goods that have been damaged in transit, we pick them up
from the comfort of your home and replace or refund them FREE of charge!
All we ask is that items sent back to us are in their original packaging and in
the same condition that they were received, within 7 working days. No small print,
no complicated T&Cs, just simple, understandable, quality service.
If you want to make a return for any reason within 7 days, all you need to do is
fill in and submit one of these return forms
. Once a member of our customer services
team has verified your return request, they will contact you with a RMA (Return
Merchandise Authorisation) number, a returns address label and will organise a suitable
day for collection. All you have to do is repackage the items as you received them
and attach the returns label.
As soon as we receive the goods, we’ll inspect them within 48 hours and if all is
well, process your refund back into the account you paid with (which can take up
to 5 working days).
We believe our customers deserve choice as well as quality. This is why we’ve created
our 1 week grace period, so customers have the opportunity to buy various items,
see which best complement the feel of their home and choose what to keep without
having to worry about footing the returns bill.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?
No, we cover all costs for returns within our 1 week grace period no matter what the reason. You only have to pay if you are outside our grace period. Please note, if you decide to return an item and the total of the items in the order that you have kept is less than £75, then Beautiful Homes Direct will hold back the relevant delivery charge from any amount you are due to be refunded.

Do I have to post the goods myself or do they get picked up?
We collect all returns during our 1 week grace period, so you don’t have to worry
about posting them out yourself. However they should be well packed and in the same
condition as you received them.
When will I get my refund?
Once we get receipt of your returned items, they will be inspected by our fulfilments
team which usually takes 48 hours (72 hours during Christmas trading). Once the
goods have passed the inspection your refund will be processed back onto your original
payment method within 3-10 working days depending on who your payment method is
registered with (i.e. bank/PayPal).
If I receive a damaged good, when will I receive a replacement?
If you receive a damaged item, let us know within 48 hours of receipt of your delivery
(by emailing email@example.com). We will collect it from your home and
once we have inspected it we will send out a replacement the next working day as
is our standard delivery. If the item is no longer in stock we will contact you
and offer you a refund or an alternative.
What is the time limit for returning goods?
We must receive returned goods within 7 days for a refund or a replacement to be
eligible at our expense. Returns are accepted up to 14 days after receipt of goods
but during the final 7 days, you will have to cover the expense of returning items.
What if I want to return something after the 1 week grace period?
Our return policy is valid for 14 days but the first week is our grace period as
we graciously cover the cost of returns for you. If you for some reason decide to
return something after our grace period then you still have a further 7 days in
which to do so. However, during this period, you would have to cover the cost of
posting and insuring the goods (in case of damage in transit) yourself.
